How do I manage the Homepage in the Tendo Android app?
The Homepage includes access to all elements of your healthcare journey. It is the default landing page for the Tendo app and contains all the information you need for your upcoming appointments and future care. View Notifications To view notifications, tap the Notifications icon. All notifications you receive from your provider display in the app. The icon displays a badge showing the number of new notifications, if any. View In-App Reminders If you have any notifications available, they display as reminders directly in the app. Up to three reminders display in the page; swipe the first reminder to view any additional reminders. To view a reminder on the homepage, tap the name of the reminder. View Care Team You can also schedule an appointment via the Care Team section, which displays all your medical providers. Up to three providers are shown in the homepage and are listed alphabetically, prioritized by providers with profile photos. View Appointments Upcoming appointments display below the Care Team section. Note: You may have existing appointments that are not initially visible in the page. To refresh the Upcoming Appointments list, swipe down on your screen. To view details of an upcoming appointment, tap the appointment link. View Tasks Any upcoming tasks or additional information about the appointment will be visible in the app. For supported appointment types, and depending on your provider, you may be able to complete one or more pre-appointment tasks, which will vary according to your provider. Each task displays as a to-do item to prepare for your appointment. Items with a white circle need to be completed. Items with a solid green circle and a white check mark have been completed. Items with a lock icon cannot yet be completed, either because the previous requirement has not been fulfilled, or the item is part of a time limitation. If no tasks are available, your provider will contact you about pre-registration requirements.

How do I view my medical provider care team in the Tendo Android app?
You can view details about your existing medical providers in the Tendo Android app Homepage. Open Care Team In the Homepage under the Care Team heading, tap the Your Providers link. The Care Team page displays a list of your providers. If a provider does not have a profile photo, the photo area displays the first initial of the provider's name. To learn more details about a provider, tap the name of the provider. View Details The Details page displays various information about your provider, including name, photo, and associated locations [1]. Tapping the telephone icon will open the phone app for your device [2]. Tapping the address of a location will open the primary navigation app for your device [3]. Schedule Appointment If a provider supports online scheduling via the Tendo app, you can schedule an in-office appointment or schedule a virtual appointment (when available) by tapping the Schedule Now button.

How do I search for a specialist to schedule an appointment in the Tendo Android app?
When supported by your provider, you can search for a provider by Specialty in the Tendo app and schedule an appointment. Notes: Appointment types and available appointment dates are determined and updated by your healthcare provider. If an appointment cannot be scheduled via the app, the provider page asks you to contact your provider’s office via telephone. Get Care In the Homepage, click the Get Care button. Search by Specialty Tap the Search by Specialty button. If your preferred Specialty area is listed in the Specialities page, tap the name of the Specialty [1]. If the page provides a long list of specialities and you want to search the results, type the name of the Specialty in the search field [2]. Note: A minimum of three characters must be entered in the search field. Filter Results If you want to filter search results, click the Filters link. View Provider Results For each provider result, the provider’s name (and image, if available) displays in the page, along with the provider’s appointment scheduling option. View the details about the provider by tapping the provider’s name. Schedule Appointment If a provider includes a Schedule by Phone button [1], tap the button to call the provider’s office and make an appointment. If a provider supports online scheduling through the Tendo app, schedule an in-office appointment or schedule a virtual appointment by tapping the Schedule Now button [2].

When supported by your provider, you can search for a provider by name in the Tendo Android app and schedule an appointment. Notes: Appointment types and available appointment dates are determined and updated by your healthcare provider. If an appointment cannot be scheduled via the app, the provider page asks you to contact your provider’s office via telephone. Get Care In the Homepage, tap the Get Care button. Search by Name Tap the Search by Name button. View Recent Providers If you have recently searched for a provider, the provider’s name displays below the Search field. To select a provider, tap the name of the provider. Search for New Provider If you want to search for a new provider by name, type the name of the provider in the search field [1]. Relevant results display in the page [2]. Note: A minimum of three characters must be entered in the search field. Filter Results If you want to filter search results, click the Filters link. View Provider Results For each provider result, the provider’s name (and image, if available) displays in the page, along with the provider’s appointment scheduling option. View the details about the provider by tapping the provider’s name. Note: When you tap a provider’s name, that provider will display in your list of recent search providers for the next time you need to search for a provider, even if you end up not scheduling an appointment with that provider. Schedule Appointment If a provider includes a Schedule by Phone button [1], tap the button to call the provider’s office and make an appointment. If a provider supports online scheduling through the Tendo app, schedule an in-office appointment or schedule a virtual appointment by tapping the Schedule Now button [2].

How do I filter provider results when I search for an appointment in the Tendo Android app?
When you search for a provider by name or search for a specialist, you can filter search results to locate a provider. Filter options include the following: Accepting New Patients: Select whether a provider is accepting new patients or existing patients Booking Options: Select whether a provider accepts appointments via phone or online via Tendo Genders: Locate a provider with a preferred gender orientation Languages: Locate providers that speak a specific language Get Care In the Homepage, click the Get Care button. Locate Provider Locate a provider either by name or via specialty and view the search results. Open Filter Click the Filters link. Select Filter Locate the filter you’d like to view and click the filter drop-down menu [1]. Then select your preferred option within the menu [2]. All related items associated with the type of care will display in the main page. Select one or more additional filters as desired. Clear Filter To clear the filter, click the Clear Filters button.

Notes: Appointment types and available appointment dates are determined and updated by your healthcare provider. If an appointment cannot be scheduled via the app, the provider page asks you to contact your provider’s office via telephone. Some providers may allow you to schedule an appointment virtually. Learn how to schedule a virtual appointment. Get Care In the Homepage, tap the Get Care button. Locate Provider Locate a recent provider that supports online appointment scheduling through the Tendo app [1]. Note: You can also search for a new provider by name [2], or search for a new provider by speciality [3]. Select Appointment Type Select the in-office appointment type you want to schedule. Note: Some providers may have more than one in-office appointment type. If a provider only has one appointment type, the appointment type will be selected by default. Select Location Tap your preferred location for the provider. Note: If your provider is only associated with one location, the location will be selected by default. Select Date Dates are loaded by week. To view the entire week, scroll down the window. If additional weeks are available for viewing, the View More button will display in the page. To advance to an upcoming month, tap the Calendar arrow. Tap your preferred date for an appointment. Note: If no dates are available for a location, tap the Location drop-down menu and select a different location for your provider. Select Time Tap your preferred time for the appointment. Specify Reason for Visit In the text field, describe your symptoms, if applicable. Be as specific as possible with what you are experiencing. Schedule Appointment Tap the Schedule button. Confirm Appointment View the confirmation page for your appointment. To add the appointment to your calendar, tap the Add to Calendar button [1]. You can view details about your upcoming appointment in the Tendo Android app homepage. Notes: Upcoming appointments are only displayed for appointments scheduled via the Tendo app. View Appointment In the Homepage, locate the Appointments section. Tap the link of the appointment you want to view. View Appointment Details View the details page for your appointment. In the details page, you can: View the date and time of your appointment [1] View the provider’s name and profile picture, if available [2] Get directions to the provider’s office [3] Contact the provider via telephone [4] Add the appointment to your calendar [5] Schedule a ride to your appointment (in-office appointments only) [6] Add appointment notes with questions or concerns to review with your provider [7] Share details about your appointment [8] The appointment details page may display pre-appointment tasks [1], which may vary by provider. You can share details about an appointment with other people using the Share feature in your Android device. The following details are included in the sharing feature: Health system Provider Name Provider Specialty Appointment Date and Time Appointment Location Appointment Phone Number Notes: Depending on the sharing context, shared information is distributed as plain text or a text (TXT) file. Open Appointment In the Homepage, locate the Appointments heading. Tap the name of the provider and the appointment date. Share Appointment Tap the Share icon. Select Recipient Select the person, application, or action that should receive the appointment information.

How do I add an appointment to the calendar on my Android device?
You can add an appointment to the calendar on your iOS device and be reminded about upcoming appointments. Notes: The appointment is always added to the calendar assigned as the default. You can manage permissions to the calendar at any time in Android Settings. Open Appointment In the Homepage, locate the Appointments heading. Tap the name of the provider and the appointment date. Select Date Tap the date and time of the appointment. Add Event Confirm the information for your appointment in the calendar [1]. When you are finished, tap the Save link [2]. The event will be added to your calendar.
